Healthy, Easy Recipes From Trainer Paisley!

My recipes are all about meals and snacks being cost effective, healthy, low prep time, and taste amazing!

GARLICKY CARROT AND BEEF MEATLOAF

What you need…

  • 1lb organic ground beef (I get mine at Cosco)
  • 4-5 med carrots shredded
  • 1/2 medium white onion diced
  • About 1/2c rolled oats
  • 1 egg
  • 1 T garlic ( I REALLY like garlic, so feel free to drop this down)
  • salt and pepper

What to do…

  1. In a fry pan add olive oil, shredded carrot, diced onion, salt and pepper.  Cook til slightly browned.
  2. In a bowl add beef, garlic, oats, egg, more salt and pepper.
  3. Mix cooked carrots/onions into beef mixture until well combined.
  4. Smash into your pan of choice (bread loaf pan?)
  5. Bake at 350 for about 40m.  This will depend on what pan you use.

SUMMER CUCUMBER, TOMATO, CHIX PEA AND FETA SALAD

What you need…

  • 3-4 tomatos large chopped
  • 1/2 large english cucumber, halved and sliced
  • 1/8 sliced white onion
  • 1 can chix peas, drained and rinsed
  • 1/2c ish of feta
  • drizzle with olive oil, salt and pepper

What to do…

  • Mix it all up and enjoy!

QUINOA BREAKFAST BOWL

What you need…

  • Cooked quinoa (follow package directions)
  • 2 pan fried eggs (I like to cook in butter 😉
  • Brewers yeast (Don’t know what the heck brewers yeast is?  Click here, it’s also known as nutritional yeast.

What to do…
