“As soon as healing takes place, go out and heal somebody else.” – Maya Angelou
After a brief hiatus we are so excited to welcome back the wonderful and inspiring Breeanna Moore (a.k.a Trainer Bree)! When you see her make sure to give her a big hug and don’t forget to ask her about her recent cycling adventure.
While we’re at it, let’s review why Trainer Bree is so amazing and get to know her a little better.
What are your trainer certifications?
I am an ACE certified personal trainer and group fitness instructor. I also hold a certification as an instructor for PWR!Moves (Parkinson’s Wellness Recovery) and Zumba. Oh, and of course CPR and First Aid.
What made you want to become a trainer?
My own personal journey towards getting active and finding better health is what led me to want to help others with theirs. Being a part of the process, helping and seeing people make progress and reach their goals is incredibly rewarding. It’s hard to imagine doing any other type of work.
What is your training philosophy?
My training philosophy: A favorite saying of mine is “do what you can and leave the rest”. I believe in meeting people where they’re at and building a solid foundation from there. Learning how to see activity as an act of self care (as opposed to punishment) and making it an enjoyable habit is key.
What are your favorite fitness activities?
My favorite fitness activity is being out on my bike! I completed my first ever cycling tour from Portland to SF this last summer and it was the most wonderful thing I’ve ever experienced. I can’t wait to do another trip like that!
What’s an interesting fact about you?
I really enjoy seeing people dressed as food. I don’t know why, it just makes me happy. I saw a guy dressed as a burrito on Halloween and got so excited I asked him for a hug (like a child seeing their favorite Disney character). I also love Googly eyes. They make the world a better place.
Well, you make the world a better place too Bree! Thank you for being such an inspiration to so many, we are so happy to have you back!
